Ingredients
Sweet frozen mango, vanilla yogurt and skim milk get a fresh, zippy twist from lime juice and a kick of crushed red pepper flakes. This 14-oz smoothie delivers ½ cup fruit, 1 oz eq m/ma and nearly 10 grams of protein. It’s a refreshing choice for breakfast or lunch.
Directions
- Place yogurt, frozen mango, milk, lime juice, and crushed red pepper flakes in a 5 gallon bucket. Blend using an immersion blender until pureed and smooth.
CCP: No bare hand contact with ready to eat food. - Pour 14 fl oz smoothies into 16 fl oz cups. Serve one smoothie to each student.
CCP: Hold and serve at 41° F or below.
